Looking to make or buy your own reclaimed wood furniture for your yard or home? Check out these fantastic designs made by Beneath the Bark. Each piece is unique and beautiful, not to mention, sturdy! So in preparation for my daughters out door wedding this September, I knew I needed a few key pieces that would blend in nicely with the forest wedding theme I was trying to create. Here they are, and may I say, they were absolutely stunning at the wedding, and were a huge hit!
When I see the tulip leaves peeking through the ground, I know spring is on its way. With an early Easter Holiday this year, I have begun thinking about a how to jazz up my spring table. With all the essentials for this table (except the floral pottery dishes) from Pier One, and some fun DIY burlap bunny ears napkin rings, I was good to go! Obviously, this napkin rings aren’t sturdy enough to last more than a few times, but they were literally just a few cents as well as quick and easy to make. All you need is a scrap of burlap, which you probably already have laying around, and a low temp glue gun.
What do you do in the summer time? Well, nothing is quite as lovely on a hot sunny summer afternoon than attending a good ol’ fashion picnic in the park wedding. My dear friend Deborah put on a beautiful and charming gathering as friends came together to celebrate the wedding of her son David and new daughter-in-law Amber. One of the things I loved about it was that the ambiance was so inviting and charming that people lingered and visited in the park much longer than usual.
The beautiful summer days are upon us. The time when we begin to have lovely gatherings with our friends and families as we come together to share friendships and a good meal.
While visiting my sister Ruth’s house in Arizona this past spring, I fell in love with her amazing selection of eclectic dishes. So we decided to put this Moroccan Tablescape together just for you to inspire yours and my summer parties! By myself, I couldn’t have put a table like this together, as I decorate a bit more monotone! One of the things I love about Ruthie is that her decorating clearly expresses her vibrant personality. I love every element in this tablescape and wish I could have just taken it all home with me. So I guess I will join you in recreating it this summer!
