New Year’s Day is just around the corner, that splendid time of year when we each candidly evaluate our lives and think of new resolutions for ourselves. What are we going to change, improve, quit, etc. Most of us do seem to really want to become the new and better version of ourselves.
Whatever your goals are, I wish you great success in achieving them. So, for today’s Motivational Monday, I have complied a few quotes I hope to use to encourage me as I work on improving myself, and I hope one or more of them will also encourage and inspire you to reach your dreams and aspirations this coming year :)
By the way, for any of these you would like to print up to put on your mirror, fridge, etc., just right click on the photo you want and click “print.”
Many of the quotes here are by heroes of mine, those people who have made a positive impact on me through their words and/or their exemplary lives; Gordon B. Hinckley, Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Og Mandino, Mother Theresa, and Joel Osteen. Their words are treasures that have touched my heart and changed my life for the better.
And isn’t it just a beautiful experience when we read words or hear examples of people that leave us in awe leaving us with the hope of becoming who we were meant to become all along? I have had the amazing and unforgettable opportunity to meet Dieter F. Uchtdorf in person; the other individuals are on my “list of who I would love to meet in the next life.” Much, much later rather than sooner please!
So good luck to you all as you work on your New Year’s Resolutions. Whatever list of goals you have for 2014, may you accomplish them through unwavering determination and of course, as always, “by design.”
